1. Our services

Lost Funds provides investigative and advisory services. This includes reviewing the facts of your case, organising evidence, tracing the movement of funds where possible, and preparing reports and recommended action plans for use with banks, exchanges, payment providers, regulators and law enforcement. Our services are investigative and advisory in nature and do not constitute legal, financial or investment advice.

2. No guarantee of recovery

We do not guarantee that any funds will be recovered. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including the evidence available, the time that has passed, the parties involved, and the policies and decisions of banks, exchanges, regulators, courts and other institutions. Any statement about past results, or about what may be possible in your case, is not a promise of a particular outcome.

3. What we do not do

We do not, and cannot, freeze accounts, reverse blockchain or bank transactions, seize assets, issue court orders, or take custody of or manage client funds. Those actions can only be carried out by the appropriate bank, exchange, regulator, court or law-enforcement authority.

4. Eligibility and your responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
• You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete and not misleading, and to update us if it changes.
• You confirm that the funds and case you ask us to investigate are lawfully yours and that your instructions do not involve any unlawful purpose.
• You are responsible for keeping copies of your own documents and evidence.

5. Free case review and engagement

An initial case review may be offered free of charge and without obligation. A formal engagement begins only when we both agree in writing on the scope of work and any applicable fees. We may decline to take on any case at our discretion.

6. Money-back guarantee

If you are not confident in our work, you may request a full refund of the fees you have paid us for the initial investigation within 14 business days of payment. This guarantee applies to the fee paid to Lost Funds for our service — it is not a guarantee that your lost funds will be recovered.

7. Confidentiality and data

We treat the information you share with us as confidential and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You authorise us to use the materials you provide for the purpose of investigating and progressing your case, including sharing relevant information with institutions and authorities where appropriate.

8. Third parties

Our reports and action plans may recommend contacting third parties such as banks, exchanges, regulators or law-enforcement agencies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, decisions or timelines of those third parties.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website and in the reports we produce, including text, graphics, logos and layouts, is owned by or licensed to Lost Funds and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Reports are provided for your own use in relation to your case and may not be resold or redistributed without our written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lost Funds is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, savings or data, arising from your use of the website or our services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Termination

Either party may end the engagement in writing. On termination, you remain responsible for fees properly due for work performed up to that date, subject to the money-back guarantee above.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page with the "Last updated" date above is the version that applies.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Because we provide services to clients in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Canada, nothing in these Terms removes any protection you have under the mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection laws of the country in which you live.
