1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of services provided by Express Refund Limited (Company No. 06676777, registered in England & Wales), trading as RefundNow ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting a claim or creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Our service

We investigate and seek to recover funds lost to fraud, scams, and unauthorised transactions. Our work involves blockchain analysis, communication with banks/exchanges, formal complaints, and where appropriate civil proceedings or referrals to law enforcement.

We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. We are not a regulated solicitor or financial adviser.

3. No-recovery, no-fee

Our standard fee structure is success-based: if we recover no funds, you pay no fee. The exact percentage and any fixed costs (e.g. third-party legal disbursements) will be set out in your individual engagement letter before work begins.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the loss
  • Provide supporting documents (transaction records, correspondence, ID for KYC)
  • Inform us promptly of any direct contact from the perpetrator or any partial recovery
  • Not pursue duplicate recovery efforts that would compromise our investigation

5. Outcomes and timelines

Recovery is never guaranteed. Outcomes depend on the nature of the fraud, jurisdiction, time elapsed, and cooperation from third parties. Typical investigation cycles take 4–16 weeks.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement on 14 days' notice. Fees become payable on any funds recovered up to the termination date.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
